Welcome Reception

The Conference Welcome Reception will take place on Sunday, July 10, 2011 from 17:00 to 19:00 in the Foyer located on the 1st floor of the Omni Mont-Royal Hotel (included in registration fee).

Conference Banquet

The Banquet will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 19:00 to 22:00 in the Pierre de Coubertin Room of the Omni Mont-Royal Hotel (included in the registration fee). Cocktails will take place from 18:30 p.m. in the Atrium (cash bar).

Tour and Traditional Quebecois Sugaring-Off Dinner

A Tour of Montreal followed by a traditional Quebecois feast at La Sucrerie de la Montagne will take place on Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Buses will be provided for this event.

Information Session and Informal Morning Coffee for Accompanying Persons

Since there are so many different options available for the accompanying persons, we thought it would be best to leave it up to each person to decide what they want to do during their stay in Montreal. However, we have organized an information session in the hospitality room (Sherbrooke room of the Omni Mont-Royal Hotel) on Monday, July 11 at 9 a.m. during which a representative from Tourism Montreal will give an overview of the different activities, museums or tours that are available (light refreshment will be served).

In addition, there will be coffee served to the accompanying persons at 9 a.m. from Tuesday, July 12 until Thursday, July 14 in the hospitality room (Sherbrooke room) to allow them to make their plans for the day.
